Your audio stays on your phone
The entire mastering chain runs locally via the Web Audio API. We never see the file. We only log preset and LUFS values to tune the engine. No GDPR mess.

Calibrated for the floor
Presets for Techno · Club, Schranz, Industrial, Ambient. AI tune analyses spectral balance, dynamic range and LUFS, then matches the right curve. Or take manual control with 7 sliders + 5 loudness targets.

Brick-wall safety
Final stage is a WaveShaper-based soft-clipper on top of a fast-attack limiter. Output ceiling is locked at −0.6 dB true peak. No inter-sample clipping, no harsh distortion.
FAQ — free online AI mastering
Is it really free?
Yes. No signup, no card, no watermark. We run the whole thing in your browser so there's no server cost for us to recover.
Where does my track go?
Nowhere. It's decoded and processed entirely on your device. We log anonymous metadata (preset name, LUFS values, duration) to a database so we can see usage trends and improve the engine. No filename, no audio.
How does this compare to LANDR or eMastered?
LANDR and eMastered use proprietary cloud rendering and charge per master. Pashex is browser-based and free — the trade-off is we can't run heavy neural models in the browser yet, so don't expect Berghain-mastering-engineer quality. Use this for demos, SoundCloud, Instagram, Bandcamp pre-listens. For vinyl pressing, pay a real mastering engineer.
Can I use it for non-techno music?
Yes. The AI tune adapts to whatever you drop in. The manual sliders work on any genre — house, drum & bass, ambient, dubstep, even pop or hip-hop. Just pick "Custom" and dial in.
What output format do I get?
16-bit PCM WAV at the original sample rate. Compatible with every DAW, every distributor, every CDJ. If you need 24-bit or MP3 export, drop us a note via the demo form below and we'll add it.
Why is the loudness limited to −6 LUFS max?
Pushing past −6 LUFS in-the-box without dedicated true-peak hardware almost always causes inter-sample peaks and pumping that sound worse on real systems. The engine is designed to deliver a clean, defendable master — not a brick wall of distortion.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. The preview player uses HTML5 audio so the iOS mute switch doesn't silence it. Tested on Safari iOS 16+, Chrome Android, Firefox, Edge.
